About Us

Caring For Women, P.A. (CFW) was founded in 2001 and has since grown into one of the most diverse and largest advanced OB/GYN private practices in North Texas, with offices in Denton, Flower Mound and Frisco. You may choose care by Physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives or Nurse Practitioners, all of whom are Board Certified.

We also have nationally certified sonographers in-office at all three locations. CFW also offers in office mammograms and Bone Density analysis, which may be scheduled same day at our Denton location, to make the most efficient use of your valuable time.

About Our Providers

Skilled in the most advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques, the providers at CFW offer many in-office surgical procedures including:

• Endometrial ablation for heavy periods using Novasure
• Birth control with Nexplanon and Liletta/Mirena/ParaGard IUD insertion
• LEEP for abnormal Pap smears
• Hysteroscopy with D&C for removal of polyps and fibroids
• Bladder leakage evaluation with urodynamics testing

Some of these procedures offer women alternatives to hysterectomy, often with only an office co-pay and minimal or no recovery time. If hysterectomy is required, CFW’s physicians are all trained in minimally invasive hospital based surgery, including the DaVinci surgical robot.

Don’t have an “open” procedure with a large scar and long recovery without seeing us for a second opinion. Pelvic reconstruction for falling organs and urinary leakage is also offered, and most patients are home the same day.

Our Certified Nurse Midwives have won several national awards related to their exceptional quality. CFW has a primary cesarean rate far below the national average with our midwifery patients having a primary cesarean rate less than 10%! We want to partner with you during this most precious of times.
